Breakfast

Breakfast and brunch by the ferry wharf

Weekend breakfast brings sourdough, coffee, pancakes, eggs, avocado, and water views to Balmain East.

Weekend mornings at The Fenwick begin with coffee by The Little Marionette, Grain Bakery sourdough, free-range eggs, Pepe Saya buttermilk pancakes, avocado, and harbour light.

The ferry wharf is close by, making breakfast or brunch a simple way to begin a day around Balmain East.

Kitchen

Seasonal produce, seafood, and an Italian edge

Our menu moves through NSW produce, fresh seafood, pasta, cocktails, and wine made for waterfront dining.

The kitchen highlights seasonal produce from small-scale NSW farmers and producers, with seafood, pasta, and house specialties designed for a long harbour lunch or dinner.

Guests often return to oysters, spanner crab, stracciatella, beef tartare, Moreton Bay Bug spaghetti, lamb shoulder, and the 1kg O'Connor bistecca.

Dining room

A harbour table with sandstone character

Our waterfront room pairs Balmain East history with views from Barangaroo to the Harbour Bridge.

The Fenwick sits in an 1880s stone building beside East Balmain Ferry Wharf, with the harbour setting the pace for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and celebrations.

Inside, sandstone walls and timber details keep the room grounded, while the upstairs gallery brings colour and movement to group dining and private events.
